Auction house Christie’s has assembled a team of specialists dedicated exclusively to cryptocurrency transactions in the real estate market. The British auction house has launched a new division, Christie’s International Real Estate, which enables buying and selling properties in exchange for digital assets.

The team includes cryptocurrency experts, lawyers, and analysts who handle deals where both the seller and the buyer want to operate solely with digital assets, according to The New York Times.

Aaron Kirman, CEO of Christie’s International Real Estate, told the publication that the decision to create the team came after several major real estate deals involving cryptocurrency. The most notable one was the purchase of a Beverly Hills home worth $65 million, paid in Bitcoin.
